Warm food, a place to rest and good company for the disadvantaged of Southport UK
Southport Soup Kitchen provides a welcoming place for the homeless and those living on low incomes in Southport. Hot tea, sausage butties and home baking are the order of the day, plus a chance to relax, meet up with friends and share problems.
We are coming to the end of a wonderful year of work and service for the homeless and disadvantaged of Southport. The loss of our founder, Justin Dempster, just a few weeks ago, has hit us hard but we are moving forward with purpose, inspired by his example. We have been truly blessed by the support of our local community and businesses, who go out of their way to provide cash and food donations. We couldn’t do our work without this support. A million thank-yous from all the volunteers and guests at the Soup Kitchen.
WE WILL HAVE OUR CHRISTMAS DINNER ON SUNDAY 16TH DECEMBER WHEN HAMPERS AND GIFTS FROM OUR SUPPORTERS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED.
WE WILL CLOSE AT 2PM ON 22ND DECEMBER AND WE WILL RE-OPEN AT 11AM ON THE 29TH.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO ALL IN SOUTHPORT AND BEYOND.
